WASH & DRY INSTRUCTION

Luxury bedding deserves attentive care. Please strictly follow the wash & dry instruction, with some little extra precautions, you will get long lasting comfort in return.

For 100% cotton sateen,

  • MACHINE WASH, NOT EXCEEDING 30°C, DELICATE/GENTLE CYCLE. MILD & PH BALANCED DETERGENT ONLY
  • IF IT IS THE FIRST TIME USE, SEE WATER IN COLOR AFTER WASH IS NORMAL, BECAUSE THAT IS THE FLOATING COLOR FROM THE FABRIC SURFACE, WHICH IS NOT RELATED TO THE DYED COLOR IN THE FABRIC. AFTER THE FIRST WASHING, THE FABRIC WILL HAVE A SOFTER FEEL.
  • DO NOT BLEACH
  • WASH WITH LIKE COLORS, AND AVOID ANY ZIPPERS OR BUTTONS FROM OTHER FABRIC ITEMS CATCHING ON THE SATEEN
  • REMOVE FABRIC PROMPTLY AFTER WASHING, BECAUSE WET FABRICS PILING TOGETHER FOR A LONG TIME (ESPECIALLY FOR THE FIRST COUPLE OF WASHES) MAY OCCUR COLOR BLEEDING THAT THE FLOATING COLOR FROM DARK COLOR AREA BLEEDS TO LIGHT AREA. SHAKE BEFORE TAKING TO THE DRYER. THIS IS FOR REDUCING WRINKLING.
  • TUMBLE DRY NO HEAT/AIR DRY (REMOVE PROMPTLY WHEN FINISH) OR HANG DRY IN SHADE.
  • LOW HEAT IRON WITH CLOTH PLACED BETWEEN IRON AND FABRIC, NO STEAM. IRONING SATEEN AFTER WASH IS ABLE TO SMOOTH THE FIBERS AND REGAIN ITS LUSTER AND SILKINESS, IF SATEEN MAY LOSE ITS SHEEN AFTER FIRST WASHING.
  • FABRIC SOFTENER OR OTHER CHEMICAL TREATMENTS ARE NOT REQUIRED

For down duvets,

  • MEDUSSA SUGGESTS NOT WATER WASH NOR DRY CLEAN THE DOWN DUVETS. THOUGH THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO CLEAN IT ON THE INTERNET, THEY ARE COMPLICATED AND VERY RISKY FOR NON-PROFESSIONAL USERS TO CLEAN. USING WITH A DUVET COVER WILL ELIMINATE THE NECESSITY OF DUVETS WASHING. TRY SPOT CLEAN AS THE LAST TRY, BUT ALWAYS AVOID WET THE DOWN.
  • DO NOT BLEACH
  • DO NOT IRON
  • DO NOT TUMBLE DRY

For silk products,

SILK DUVETS SIMPLY REQUIRE FAR LESS CLEANING THAN OTHER DUVETS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT PROVIDE ENVIRONMENT FOR MITES, BACTERIA OR MILDEW GROWTH. THEREFORE, SILK DUVETS MAY ONLY REQUIRE TO BE AIRED EVERY FEW MONTHS ON THE BALCONY TO REJUVENATE. TRY SPOT CLEAN AS THE LAST TRY, BUT ALWAYS AVOID WET THE SILK.

  • DO NOT WATER WASH
  • DO NOT BLEACH
  • DO NOT IRON
  • DO NOT TUMBLE DRY, DRIP DRY IN SHADE SUGGESTED
  • DO NOT DRY CLEAN

For HEFEL TENCEL® products,

  • 60°C MACHINE WASHABLE IN A GENTLE CYCLE
  • AIR DRY ALLOWED
  • DO NOT BLEACH
  • DO NOT IRON
  • DRY CLEAN ALLOWED, BUT USE DRY CLEANING SOLVENT OTHER THAN TRICHLOROETHYLENE.

ALWAYS STORE YOUR BEDDING IN A WELL VENTILATED PLACE WITH MINIMUM MOISTURE LEVEL.
